As per the Election commission Website , Amritsar (East) polled 68% VOTES..

This is about 8-9% less than the average voter turnout of 76.63% in Punjab overall

But this is the highest voting %age amongst the Five(5) Amritsar  Constituencies ...

Now, this is good news for SIMARPREET BHATIA SUPPORTERS. She May have tripped NAVJOT SIDHU and His Wife.

Logic: For us Indpendent Candidate Simarpreet Bhatia's Team, we were sure of bringing the voters out.. We made sure every possible available voter goes to polling booth.

The Effort made incase of Our Indepenedent Candidate Simarpreet bhatia was selfless sacrifice and our belief that She's one amongst us, that some Injustice has happened after what congress did (cancelling her ticket) , So our support was full from heart.

The Industrial Belt of East Mohan Nagar was all for Mrs. Bhatia...

Now other factor : If we take that Sidhu and Datti of Congress  and Your Candidate SIMARPREET BHATIA were  Standing equal .....But NOTE THAT SIMARPREET BELONGS TO AMRTITSAR -EAST AREA (GOLDEN AVENUE) , so Areas in and around her locality Like Golden Avenue, New-Golden Avenue, Shareef Pura, Tehsil Pura, Sunder Nagar, and a few more...These Areas as per info and feedback and also logic will and have overwhelmingly Voted IN FAVOUR OF SIMARPREET BHATIA....

while NO SUCH phenomenon will be noticed incase of Congress or BJP candidates Because they are OUTSIDERS to Amritsar-East.So, most areas they will split votes in a certain ratio..while some areas have voted  one sidedly for Mrs. Bhatia... As per one report in Golden Avenue when Mr. Sidhu and supporters came to take stock of situation and made allegations of false voting...EVM were checked and it showed 196/200 votes polled in favour of Mrs. Bhatia....However voting was restarted and Sidhu left ....

Prediction Time: SIMARPREET BHATIA WILL POLL AROUND 30,000-34,000 VOTES AND WILL WIN BY ABOUT 1500-3000 VOTES FROM Mr. and Mrs. SIDHU......
